Just delivered these 4 paintings which have been accepted into the juried plein air art show at @leightonartcentre! The show is called In The Open Air and it is running from Sept.12th through Oct. 31st. Two plein air painting days from the last 2 weeks. We took a little day trip on Wednesday through southern Alberta. I did these two little paintings on the way back, just west of Pincher Creek. The purple mountain one was the second painting--facing south around 8 pm. The other one was facing north around 6 pm.
