Neighborhood Paintings – Day 4

Morning Sky, Mar. 25, 2017, watercolour on paper, 11 x 14

I was up at 6:30 this morning waiting for the sunrise. I set myself up by the back patio doors with a view to the east, but when it came it was a very mediocre sunrise. I went to look out the living room window and all the beautiful clouds and pinks and oranges were to the west, so I hurridly relocated myself to the other side of the house. It changed so quickly that I ended up missing out on some of the more spectacular pinks, but it was still a very pretty sky to paint.
