Two of my paintings were selected to be a part of the Come Paint Aberta group’s Juried Plein Air Art Show at the Leighton Centre! Here they are all framed up and hanging in my house before delivering them to the Leighton Centre. My two paintings that are in the show were painted on site in Nanton, Alberta with the Come Paint Alberta art group who organized plein air paint outs this summer that artists could join. I went to three of the paint out days–one in Nanton, one at the Orkney Viewpoint near Drumheller, and one in Canmore.

The show will be running from August 27th to October 23rd and the opening will be on September 10th from 2:00 – 4:00. The paintings will also be available for purchase online once the show is up and running. If you are in or around the Calgary area I highly recommend visiting the Leighton Art Centre–it is also a beautiful drive and amazing Alberta scenery!
