I have decided to start a 30 day art project to get myself back into painting. I am going to be doing a painting a day around my neighborhood for the next 30 days. We’ll see how it goes. There will probably be a lot of paintings of my yard, especially once my flowers start coming up. I am really itching to start gardening this year; and I almost got out my patio furniture, but decided against it in the end.

So this is the view from my front yard patio area, sitting on my little fold up travel seat. Not much colour yet and the yards across the street still have some snow, but a beautiful spring day nonetheless. A bit cold though and very windy–the painting took me about an hour and a half to do, and I was pretty chilled by the end. It was so nice to come inside for coffee afterwards.
