A rainy, overcast day here. It started raining on me while I was out there painting so I had to cut my painting time a bit short. This is one of my favourite garden views, as seen from my shade garden by the house, under the lilac tree. It’s another view that I have painted many times in the summer, but never in the springtime when the garden is still a mess. Although there is actually a lot of perennials coming up underneath all of that. I was out poking around this morning to peek, but I held off on doing any clean-up because there’s still a lot of sleeping ladybugs in there.
