This is yesterday’s painting, but I couldn’t get a good photo of it inside last night so I had to wait for daylight to do the photo. It was threatening to rain yesterday, although the rain didn’t end up starting until the afternoon, and I had thought I would do a painting of the clouds. I procrastinated all day, waiting for a dramatic storm sky or a bit of the sunset to shine through the clouds, but this is all there was. So I finally just painted the overcast sky around 8:00 last night. It’s a very subtle painting, but I am happy with how the clouds turned out–that’s pretty much how the sky looked all day long.
